Technical Manager
Job Summary:
Name: Technical Manager
Band: L5
Duties/Responsibilities:
Work with BA to understand the business logic and assist solution architect on solution design and finish design document
Communicate with stakeholders on technical solutions and document, get related technical approval from customers if needed
Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for client engagement from definition phase through implementation
Cooperate with Project Manager to create project technical quotation
Support the developer to complete task
Reviews work of development team
Training team members technical skills
Communicates and enforces coding standards
Other technical work arranged by the company
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above, computer science, electronic engineering or relevant major
Report progress, risks, and deviation to plans to the PM
Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT area.
Minimum of 2 years of experience related on technical manager role
Have 0 to 1 project experience as a tech lead role
Proficiency with K8s, Docker, Spring cloud, Spring Boot, Redis, Nginx, Kafka
Proficiency with cloud architecture and solutions
Proficiency with one popular database software, such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, Sybase, or MySQL
Proficiency with one of popular UI structure, such as Angular, React or Vue
Proficiency with development tools, like Maven, jUnit, NPM, etc
Proficiency with Agile and Waterfall
Proficiency with DevOps
Good English in reading/writing/speaking
Experienced at Insurance industry is a big plus
With PMP certificate is a plus
